The Women’s Crisis Centre has been working to eliminate violence against women and help its victims recover since 2002 with the launch of its first project “A Community Approach to Eliminating Violence Against Women” in Owerri, Imo State.

WCC’s vision is a world of peaceful communities that are safe for women and girls and its mission is to support community based groups expand their capacity to create and nurture peaceful and safe communities.

We are currently scaling our programs.
